Starting Up

So I am new to this, but wanted to start a blog (tried wordpress wasn't 100% satified...so decided to come to blogger). Where to start...well the past few months have been busy ones here. In January Andrew and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. Then in February my little man turned 4. I can't believe that he is already 4, it has gone by way too fast. Breyden has turned into such a little man, with non stop talking (which can be overwhelming at times). But he loves to make you laugh and loves, loves to dance!! He loves tractors, machines, dirt and boy things!

The Birthday Boy!!!

This past month Breyden got tonsils out, not a fun event at all! He was not a happy camper at when we took him into the pre-op area of the hospital. The nursing staff actually had to give him some vercet to help relax him. Once that kicked in he was much happier (I think anyone would be after not eating and having some "happy" medication). But once the surgery was done that was a whole other animal. But once calmed down and allowed to eat some popsicles he seemed to be okay for the most part. Here are a couple pics from that day:

This is in the pre-op area after the "happy" medication and is watch star wars cartoons!

This is post-op after he was allowed to eat!

Finally this month we celebrated Sydney's First Birthday! I still can not believe it's been a full year. I look back and think it has gone by way too fast(again)! Syd has changed so much (as babies will do) this past year. She has her own fiesty and sass personality. She is definitely a little lady. Loves all the pretty things of mommies, she is learning how to stand currently an we are giving her until Easter to probably be walking. Here are a few pics from her birthday!

Her birthday cake for the little princess!

Looking back over this past few years has brought us many things, not all good, but not all bad either. I think I can finally say we have found our place in this world and have settled into for the time being. This week will mark the longest my husband and I have ever lived at one address (thanks to the military and housing boom while in VAB). These past few years in MN have been the toughest yet the most rewarding. I am thankful for it all.
