These past couple weeks I have formed an incredible bond with a couple of ladies. Its amazing how well we seem to know each other and the ease as to which we get along...We've known each other for almost 1 year and half with our kids being in preschool together....but it wasn't until just recent that we had a play date that lasted 8 hrs...and decided to schedule another one in the same week...there was tons of laughter, familiar outlooks on life, and our kids all had a blast hanging out together!!
Also these past few months I have realize how much I depend on my best friend. She has known me way too many years now...17 to be exact...since I had to fill it out on a reference form a week ago. There were times when we were not side by side....by there are way more times that we were side by side...we talk every day...usually by text now...I remember a handful of years ago it was hour plus phone calls...I vividly remember talking to her while she was dunking undies in the toilet...(oh the joys of potty training)...while I was fumbling through taking care of a newborn!! She is much more than a best friend to me, she is like a sister that I never had...and I love her dearly. I am so very thankful she is my life now and always will be!
I have also learned that some friends come and go...they were there for a reason at that given time, but they're are also not there for reasons and for the most part we may not understand why at that time....but once enough time has past we can fully understand it...and it makes us a better person and also shows who truly care for you!
I am so grateful for all of my friends as they walk along side me through our journey in life!
