My two beautiful kids!! I remember my first mothers day like it was yesterday...having a 3 month old...trying to figure out what motherhood really was...still wondering if I was doing it right...I still wonder today if I am doing it right...no one ever told you about what motherhood really is...all the ups...and all the downs...there are so many good things about being a mom...but there is also another side...the side no one really talks about until you are there in the trenches together...side by side...the fighting, the talking back, the sleepless nights, all the things that are hard about raising a child/ren...these are the things that truly teach you what being a parent is all about...the good times help you overcome the hard times, and get you through. But through those hard times you have to find a way to have the most patience, show them love, and teach them how to properly handle a situation they may not like to do....these are the times that you really find out what type of mother you are.
I love my kids with all that I am...they have made me into the person that I am today! They have forever changed me, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their life!
