We survived the first week and then some!!!

So as I said in my last post we have hit the ground running with school, activities, and family events!!!  Breyden loved school!!!  He is super excited every day he goes, and has many stories about it when he gets home!  On Sunday night when I was asking him what he wanted in his lunch, he said "no mom, I'm going to get my lunch at school"  and I was ok lets check first to make sure you will eat it.  So we checked and it was something he would eat...when he returned monday afternoon he told me he loves getting hot lunch!!!  this is too funny to me since about 3 weeks ago he informed me that I was always going to make his lunch (times are changing).  Syd has now had dance twice...the first time she was very nervous and really did not want to keep her tap shoes on....but thankfully daddy showed her how much noise they make...and she was all set to keep them on!  She was still pretty shy the entire class...and didnt really start to do anything until she put on her ballet shoes....but this week she tried a few more things...but still hanging back and being shy!!!  Syd also started her littlest bookworms class through the Cambridge Isanti ECFE...its a class that I spend about 45 minutes with her then leave her to play for another 1:15 alone...im so fortunate to be able do this...I think it will help her with the transition to preschool next year...she was pretty shy the first day...but did great....today she was even more excited for it...and did all the art projects and played alot...so proud of her!!  On thursday Breyden had his first karate class...he seems to like it...the first class was more informational then he would have liked....so it was a long night for him...and he also started learn to skate this weekend...so it has been crazy busy around the Kaeding house...we are all getting used to this new routine of school and activities!!
