"Time isn't what makes a friendship last...It's love and devotion that keeps the tie between souls"
I ran across this quote today and it is so true....you can have a friendship that spans many years, but unless you nurture it as the time passes it will not grow...it will stall, grow stagnate and fade out. But if you take the time it needs, give all your love and devotion to that person (or persons) you will be rewarded with true friendship or more of a sisterhood...one that you know you can always count on...you know that person will love you no matter what...this is what a make friendships last...
I am honored to say that I have this person in my life...she walks and talks with me daily....we share our lives together...we share our bond with our children showing them what it takes to make lasting friendships...without her I would not be a whole person....she is the sister that I never had....and I am thankful for everyday that passes that she is in my life and my children's life!
I hope that everyone is able to have this bond with at least one person in their life.
