Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
It was not me who this past week thought I really do not have much of anything to blog about today....nope I would not be thinking about this all week!
It was not until Saturday morning happened the that world basically unleashed itself!!! (and during all the fun I did not think one bit how it would be put in this post...nope not me!)
So here it goes:
It was not me who woke up Saturday morning to my husband telling me "man it sure smells like poop in here" (ie our house)....I did not respond with "you must be wrong I smell nothing" (yet I was still in our bedroom and he was in our hallway)....he did not let me know that our dog (well small horse...120lbs german sheperd) was having some gas and possible bathroom issues outside the night before.....I did not come out of our room and finally agree with him that yes it does smell like poop in our house....i did not respond with "well you better go check it out....cuz Im not cleaning it up"...My husband did not walk down our stairs to our landing to look into our unfinished basement with shock and mouth hanging open for 5 full minutes before even being able to speak to me about the horrors that lay in wait for him downstairs.....I did not go down the stairs and look at it myself....only to start laughing so hard that I was crying profusely at the horrors that await my husband!! no no I did not do that!! Surely it was not me who went right back upstairs to go about my business of making myself coffee...no I always help out....never once run as fast as I can away from a horrible mess!
While my husband was not cleaning up a massive mess downstairs I did not forget to put a cup under the coffee dispenser of our keurig only to have it dump (make) it all in the tray (THANK GOD)...I would never do that I am always aware of what I am doing....never doing too many things at once!
We did not go to run errands with my daughter watching netflix on my husbands phone in our shopping cart and car...she is always a good kid to go with and never makes a huge fuss in stores....
We did not come home from shopping only to find that our house still smelled like poop even after to massive non-clean up....my husband did not fumigate our downstairs to get rid of the horrid smell.....
I do not find myself still laughing at the expression on my husbands face when he came face-to-face with the horrors downstairs saturday morning!
So what has everyone else been not doing this week?
Elisa
That is pretty bad. Shuddering at the thought of the smell. That is why nothing else that can't eventually get potty trained is coming to live with us.
ReplyDeleteWe have been fortunate with our large beast...this was a first in the 3 years that we've had him....hoping (and praying) its the only!
