The kids get to visit Santa

On Saturday we took the kids to see Santa at a local business....I was a little nervous with Syd is she was going to finally have her freak out session....but this Santa was cute and super nice and both kids had fun talking to him!!

I'm sure they both talked his ear off telling him what they wanted for christmas!!!

We also decided to "recruit" an Elf on the Shelf this year to help them be on their best behavior during this holiday season (which is desperately needed in this house right now....yes its true)....well he came yesterday after we instituted a "family" nap time since two children had a show down in Target!!  Well his official name is "Bart" and this morning they woke up to him having a tea party with some unusual guests!!!  

All tea party guests should include a Penguin, Star Wars Fighter, a Lego Star Wars Droid, Mr Pricklepants from Toy Story, and Halo Alien....I bet the conversation was a great!!!
