Time to Catch Up

Well its time for the 2 month catch up session...since its been forever for pics of the kids and postings of their activites....

April is a blur....but we colored Easter eggs and they loved it...this year I got some that had stickers....they liked that but the stickers were a pain in the butt to remove...oh well!!  Oh and fun note was I had two packages of eggs...one I had boiled the day before and the other was for cooking/eating....well lets just say we are lucky...we ended up coloring the non-boiled eggs....whoops!!  found this out when I was trying to make egg salad and I cracked open a egg and it was not what i was expecting...it was a good laugh!

For Easter we kept it simple....church in the morning...then we went to my parents house for a late lunch...it was a good meal...fresh steaks on the grill...the kids had a blast...my parents got Breyden an electric go kart...and we brought out 4 wheeler....lots of fun for the kids...and thankfully it was reasonable outside so that's where we were!

In May Breyden took his test for his green stripe and he passed....so now he is a yellow with a green stripe for karate....and he was able to break his first board....he did such a good job!

In May Syd has been busy with dance...we are getting ready for her recital which is now in a couple weeks...we had dance pictures...which did not go over well at all....she was not happy about it...she wasnt having a good day to begin with so that did not help at all!!  We also had her last day of ECFE last week....she loves school so much...its sad that its over!

Also I took a 3 day work trip to Charlotte...it was nice to be able to put faces to names and get some one on one time with my co-workers...it was also a nice break from the craziness that home life is...but it was also good to come back home!

For the next couple weeks its crazy for sure....breyden only has 5 days of school left (2 weeks)...then its official we have completed our first year....and then we have syd's dance recitals right afterwards all weekend long....but we decided to take this summer off of activities for both kids since we will be busy with other things...which I will post in a different post!

But for now that brings you all up to date on the kids!
