Today is Breyden's last day of kindergarten...I still can't believe that its been a year....it has gone by very fast....just 9 months ago I was in tears watching him go on the bus for the first time....I was afraid that he would get confused at the transfer area (yes here in Isanti all the kids....I mean all grade K-12 ride the bus together until they go to the intermediate school where everyone transfers to their schools bus...I am not a fan of this...but thats how it is here...and nothing I can do about it...except move) and not get on the right bus....but he has successfully transferred every day he went to school....Breyden loves school....loves going...his teacher has been awesome....he has come so far since his first day....He can read with little assistance....he loves books...I will catch him in his room with a book trying to figure out what it says now instead of just looking at the pictures....he's also creative....he loves doing all the projects at school...and now I am seeing more of his creative side at home....and he has matured as well....yes he can get in his moods, but he is a little man and its so exciting to see him grow, change, and learn!!!
After today its going to be hard to believe, but I am going to be a mother of a first grader....its alot to digest, but its true...and to top it off he will be starting a new school in a new school district....I am not overly worried about him adjusting to the change....I am just glad we are able to do this while he is younger and will be able to adapt easier
Here is my little man on his last day of school
