Quiting is NOT an option

So I saw this yesterday on Facebook and its so true....and especially lately....I have been doing more bike riding to give my right shoulder/back a break from the high impact, craziness that Insanity and Shawn T bring....and I have discovered I am not a "warm up" person....whether it be on my bike or with a workout video....I am not a fan of warming up....I do not feel 100% when I am in "warm up"....my strength, coordination comes a good 15 minutes into whatever workout I may be doing....I have noticed this more on my bike than anything....I ride better after those first 15 minutes are over with...I get my pace set and I can just go....but that being said I have to always "talk" myself through the hills....always....hills are hard....especially if you take a new route you are not used (which I did on Sunday)....I can see them in front of me and I have to tell myself..."okay its only this one hill right now and I can do it".....and repeat the "I can do it" all the way up....until I have crested the hill...this is my mind over matter...I may swear at the hill afterwards....(which I did on Sunday....there was an exceptionally awful one).....and the same goes with my Insanity workout...my mind wants to quit, but I know if I just suck it up and talk myself through it I can do it.....once I have finished it...whether it be an Insanity workout or a 20 mile ride I better about myself and accomplished...I set out a goal for myself and I completed it....it may not have been pretty all the way through...but I did it!

So "Do it Anyway!" is now a new motto for me!
