Its official....we completed our first 10 mile on Sunday....it was a cold cold morning....26 degrees when we left the house at 4:30am....yes it was that early....it was dark and cold....but both of us had adrenaline running in our system....we parked in St Paul and took a bus over to Minneapolis to the Metrodome for the start....its amazing the rush you get with all the people around you preparing to do the same thing you are...the run was beautiful yet hard run.....it started in Minneapolis took you down to the river bed....then you crossed the river and ran for the most part up Summit....when you got to the top of Summit was a breath taking view of the capital and downtown St Paul....and the leaves are at their peak right now making it even prettier....

I am so glad we did it....we both went in with our own goals...which happened to be the same...I wanted to do under a 10 min mile and same with Andrew and we both succeeded in that....and even though we are walking like too old people right now and have some very sore quads....we already have plans for next year....and they are so far including one half and one full marathon!!! ( you can call us crazy now....)
