12 yrs ago we didn't do much special on our wedding day....it was simple and easy....4 people total: marriage commissioner and us, plus one of his shop guys, Jason (thank you so much for that), to take pictures for us.....after our quick nuptials we went to Marine Science Museum and walked around, I think Andrew filed his taxes (so romantic) and later that night we ate at Chili's and went to Crocodile Rocks (a dueling piano bar in Norfolk, VA) and the only thing that was eventful on the whole day was when Andrew broke my power steering in the Saturn....and I still say he broke it even though he denies it....still not the wedding present I was hoping for....but that's our wedding story nothing extravagant.....and looking back 12 yrs later I miss nothing about having a big wedding....I like our simple one....it was easy, no stress....no worrying about anyone else but us.....no regrets what-so-ever

The things I have learned in the past 12 yrs is marriage is hard work....there are days, weeks, months where it just works and flows....but then there are times when it doesn't and these times may last days, weeks or months....even during these hard times I know I choose right....I know that I am married to my best friend, the person who will always support me 100% even if he is mad as hell at me he still loves me and I him......
We were able to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday (thanks to the new job) with a dinner at Ruth Chris's....awesome awesome dinner....Sunday did not go as planned, but that is life....atleast we were able to share a laugh at it by the end of the night!
Here's to 12 years under our belt and to many many more to come!
