Yesterday was the first day of spring....not so much here in the frozen tundra of MN....I have no idea what the actual high was but it was not spring temps I can tell you that....I was spoiled for almost 8 years living in Virginia Beach....where winter was condensed to a month...maybe....but having been back in MN for 6.5 years I am still adjusting to the long, long cold, snowy winters....and getting very jealous of instagram pics and posts on facebook of my southern friends enjoying the non-winter weather that is already there...
I am happy that the nights are lighter now thanks to daylight savings....but I am longing for warm weather....flip flops....no more winter coats...ugly dirty snow....and the mess it creates in my entry way.....I can not wait for green grass....shorts....warm sun...being able to be outside with the kids....
My plan is to pack up all our summer clothes....because I know once I do that warmer weather will come...since we won't have those clothes/shoes out and accessible....atleast that it what I am telling myself!!
