Free at Last

After almost 6 months hiatus....and over 4 months after my cervical neck fusion I am allowed to run.....when my surgeon told me this this morning....I almost wanted to kiss him.....no more jealousy at the gym....I can start doing more aerobic exercising as long as its not super high impact....his words were no standing on my head at this time!....I don't see a future in that to begin with!!!  But I took my first run today....and it went well....despite the cold and wind....it felt good to get out there and beat the pavement again....I only wanted to do two or three miles...yea reality was only 1.8 miles....damn hill coming back home!!....oh well....it felt great anyway!

Now onto planning my races for this summer and fall....can NOT wait for those!
