Proud mom moment with a side of guilt

Last night we had Sydney's Spring Fling at her preschool....she had practice for an hour during the day and she was so excited for it....all she could talk about all day was her program she was going to be in....and that mommy, daddy and breyden were coming to watch.....so I got her all dressed up in her prettiest dress (well one of them....not gonna lie the girl has a few)....and got her all fancied up....and her only complaint was that something was in her ear and it was bugging her....come to find out it wasn't wax....but it looked like she had an ear infection....this house is not new to ear infections....we are well versed in them....both kids had tubes...Breyden once at 16 months and another at age 4.....Syd was lucky enough to get hers at 8 months....and they have had a few ear infections after tubes....not as many but a couple here and there.....but this one appeared to be pretty bad....but she never had a fever...she had a cold a couple weeks before....but that was it....and hadnt said anything about her ears until right before we were supposed to leave....so Andrew and I made the decision we would take her to urgent care after her program since she was so excited to go to that

We got to the church and dropped her off....they came in and marched with drums....and preformed quite a number of songs.....she did such a good job!!! and she was not walking around at the front or anything....she was doing what she was told....So proud of my little lady!

The program got done just in time for us to go over to Target clinic and get her looked at....my poor baby ruptured her ear drum from the infection....I feel so bad and guilty....but she never said anything about it and didnt appear sick (which has happened with Breyden....didnt know he had an ear infection one time either).....but it was a quick visit at Target for some meds to help her feel better!  And her only request is that she wants some girl super hero jammies....that I can do....and you can bet she will get a couple things for being such a good girl at her program and a champ with her meds and ear infection (mom guilt all the way)!!!
