This past week marks the last full week of preschool for Syd...and today marks the last day that she has lunch bunch/extended care....she has one more day of school next week on Monday....then she is off until next school year....I can not believe how fast it has gone by....
A part of me is ready for school to be done with....the needing to be out the door at this time....to make it to school....and then repeat that 2.5 hours later or longer if its her long day.....having to get her and I ready in the morning....on the days that she doesn't go to school...we usually don't get out of jammies until its gym time....or so....even though I am working....I have no dress code...its my house....if I want to work in jammies so be it....same with her! (less laundry as I see it)....
On the flip side I know I am going to miss not having her in school too....besides the break and the need for peace and quiet....I know she is having fun and learning....and she will miss seeing her friends and teachers!!!
Today I am enjoying the last few hours of Friday's without kids....until next school year....I am embracing the quiet....all too soon it will be replaced with the normal noise that my kids create!
