Mother's Day weekend...yes weekend...is basically here....I think we deserve a weekend....cuz a day just doesn't cut it.....if your house is anything like mine....I have too many job titles to count....and only one of them pays in US currency....the others pay in a non-monetary fashion....sometimes that is in the form of I love you, hugs, or kisses....but they usually pay you in..."I am hungry"...."Where's my keys"...."Mom I am done"....being screamed from some remote bathroom of my house.....or my all time favorite the fighting between the kids
I love being a mom....but I will gladly hand over my responsibilities on Sunday to their father's very capable hands....and let him break up the fights....feed the natives.....and wipe the asses!
Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there....may you get lots of love from your kids and husband....maybe a card or gift....but mostly may you get a much deserved break!!
