Official First Day!

Its official as of yesterday (which really doesn't count since its a rest/off day) I have started my marathon training...Yes I am really choosing to run 26.2 miles for the fun/hell of it....ever since my first race over a year ago...I wanted to complete a marathon and I am officially training for it!


I have been constantly working towards this since December when I was able to go back to non-impact workouts and was fully released in the beginning of April....but today is the first official run of 4 miles in my new workout program that I received on Friday....this new workout program scares the shit out of me...its mostly seeing the total number of miles per week that is scary....but its what I need to do to get ready for 26.2 in October....I am so glad that I was able to run 7 miles this past Saturday....it was the mental boost that I needed....to be able to start this week with the confidence that I need....considering my mileage for this week alone is going to be 28 miles....I am excited and nervous at the same time, but I am thankful that someone else has helped me with the running/training program....it makes it easier for me....I just follow what it says everyday....and I know I will be ready....

Even though this is going to be one of the hardest things I have done....and the next 19 weeks are going to be grueling....in the end it will pay off when I cross the finish line!
