Its beginning to finally be summer!

Wow I can not believe its July already! Time has been flying by! Over Fourth of July weekend we kept it pretty low key...we weren't really up for a ton of stuff considering we were still trying to get back together after my 8 day travel for work....it takes awhile to get the kids and house back on schedule when you are gone for that long period of time!

For the Fourth we went to Andrew's co-workers house and hung out with some Andrew's co-workers and their friends. It was a great time had by all including Jack and he was by far the largest dog there...so did not know my 10 pound german shepherd we took home would be 100+ lbs after a year...yikes!

Happy Fourth from Breyden and Sydney!

Syd and her Daddy!

This past weekend we finally made it up to the cabin. It was a great weekend. Saturday was hit or miss with the t-storms, but we still managed to take a fishing trip out on the boat, and later a mostly swimming/small amount of fishing trip!

Andrew with his first fish and only one worthy of taking a picture!

Here is me with both the kids!

Finally Breyden with his first catch of the day!

It was a great time away from all the constant stress of daily life! Breyden still is my little fish, who loves to swim anywhere he can get a chance...just give him water and he is game. Syd on the other hand is still very leary of the whole swimming thing (not certain where she is getting this) she is not a fan of cold water...which lakes can be...but she is getting better with pools!!!

On Monday Andrew and I both had the day off and decided to take the kids to the Rush City outdoor pool...it was an awesome day for it. Sunny and warm enough without being too hot. Syd actually cooperated with us even though she did not have a nap until almost 4 pm. She was not so happy at first about the water, but after 30 minutes she was much apt to go into the zero depth area and walk around and explore!

Well its been a busy summer so far, can't wait to see what the rest of it brings!
