- Life doesn't always give you what you want - So very true. This has come completely full circle too many times to count. With Andrew getting out of the military we thought it would be as simple as that. Little did we know what the last 4 years had in store for us. Same goes for when we decided to add to our family, we never knew how physically and emotionally draining it would turn out to be. I am so very thankful for our little lady who is with us today. But I will never be the same person that I was previously. I have to say all the things that we have struggled through either together as a family or individually has made us stronger people today than we were before.
- The meaning of true friends: These past few months I have come to cherish my true friends. These are the friends that don't let petty things get in between your friendship. They are the one's that it can be a couple days, weeks, years that we don't see each other or hang out, but we always know we are here for one another and can pick up right where we left off. These friends are always there for you no matter what and it really takes struggling through hard times without leaning on them to make you realize just how must you missed them in your life.
- Family is what you make: It can be composed of your biological family, your family you created with your spouse, or your friends. I truly believe that there are friends that fall more into what I consider "my family" than ones that are blood related. And I am honored that I have people in our life that we can call then family.
It's been an interesting past few months with the way that life is leading our family of 4 but I am glad to be along for the ride, and trying to enjoy it as much as we can!
