Can't believe its September already!

Wow...where did this summer fly off to in such a hurry!!! One minute its May preschool just ended and now its September already and we're gearing up for round two!!! I have to say this summer has been a great one. We has many fun times with the kids whether it was just hanging out at home, going to the zoo, the cabin, or the pool. We, also, had a good time hanging out with the neighbors in our driveway or theirs until the wee hours of the morning. This summer has flown by in a blink of an eye. As well as our vacation we had! We took all of last week off to hang out at home on a nice stay-cation! We had a blast at my brother-in-laws birthday party get together for his girlfriend, Melanie, in Minneapolis to start it off! On Monday we took the kids to the State Fair with both their Uncle Adam and Aunt Maggie...besides it being hotter than hell...it was a great time. The kids loved going to the see the baby animals where they could get within petting distant.

We also took them into the butterfly house. Breyden had a great time in there catching all the butterflies he could. Syd was a little leary of it at first, but it was fun even for the adults!!

We then took Breyden to the kidway where he had a ton of fun riding all the rides he wanted to go on...Syd decided to dance for her Aunt and Uncle while waiting patiently as she could for her brother to finish up. Then we went to machinery hill...Breydens favorite place!!! All-in-all it was a good day!!!

The rest of the vacation was spent hanging out at home during the week with their Uncle and the rest of the neighbors. This weekend we went up to the cabin for some more extended family time. They got to hang out with great grandma, and the grandparents as well as some more extended family!

It was a great week that seemed to disappear in a blink of an eye...but so did the summer. I am glad that preschool is starting again, it will give Breyden (and I) a nice break outside of this house and he will get to see some friends he had a great time hanging out with last year!!! Next year I can't believe my little man will be in kindergarten...where has the time gone!

I have another post in the works with the walk we are honored to do this weekend, but will save it for another post later on this week! I hope all is well with everyone as our kids are going back to school and we are sadly saying good bye to summer!
