Oh the joys of Easter Egg coloring! Its a right passage...this year we had both kids really want to do it...since the years before Syd was too young to really understand what we were doing!
Note to self next year...do not do the glitter eggs...it was a mess and the finished product was not that great!
Finally it was Easter! We decided to hide Breyden's basket in a more difficult spot this year! Well when the search began little did we know that at his height he could not see the basket on top of the kitchen cabinets....another note to self make sure to check spot from kid height!!! Oh well!! Once Syd realized what the Easter Bunny brings it was all over...that kid has such a sweet tooth its ridiculous. Candy for breakfast...candy as bribery just to get dressed...candy for lunch I am sure is what happened at Grandma's house! I don't think she has ever had that much candy in her 2 years of life!! Atleast it only happens once a year right?
Breyden is so happy he got his lego star wars and Syd doesn't look as happy, but in all reality she has a mouth full of chocolate!
Easter weekend was a great time for us! We got to spend Friday night with great friends and their kids...we enjoyed a nice dinner...and some wine (and I laugh as I type that)...free entertainment by the kids....we had our first friend sleepover for Breyden! The boys had a blast....nothing like hanging out in your jammies til 3 pm...and getting to play video games all day long! Us ladies had a nice time at the outlet center on Saturday!!! Finally Sunday was a nice day with the extended family!! The weather was a amazing on Sunday as well...we were outside for most of the day!!! Overall great weekend, could not ask for anything more!!
