Losing My Mind

Mckmama- Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday, where you and I can share a few of our secrets from the week, revealing some things we'd rather forget.  Why?  Because its therapeutic and makes us all feel less alone.

I'll start!

We did not got to Pizza hut on Wednesday to celebrate our son getting his yellow belt in karate only to have our daughter have a full melpt down over trying to move a chair into the center of the resturant to watch cartoon's on their tv....we did not just ignore her screaming until we left...nope not us....and I really really do love this time in her life...I love that she is turning into what her brother was at this age....really I do...and I am cherishing every moment of it!

I did not decide to do a Max Insanity workout on Thursday (since my workout partner was broken and could not move by then) only to feel like I was about to pass out 45 minutes into it....I did not try to do a happy dance at the end because I made it through the whole 59 minutes....I did not take a pic of my watch/trainer to show that I burned 828 calories and post that pic on facebook....and I would never be crazy enough to try another Max workout on Friday....only to learn that yes there are a few select muslces that have not been fully used yet....there was no way I was walking with a limp by the end of said workout on Friday!!! (btw Thank you Shawn T)

I did not receive a nice letter from Santa delivered via Bart (our elf on the shelf) that stated I should not have to do any household work, food preparations, child rearing, etc on Saturday since it was my birthday...and that I should have a day off....nope that would not happen...and I surely did not laugh when my husband discovered the letter and stated "Man Santa is sure stretching it some here"

At dinner Saturday I did not start telling my husband a story only to stop mid sentence and stare at him blankly because I completely lost track of what I was going to say in the first place....and he did not  just sit and shake his head at me and then proceed to laugh at me as well!!....that would never happen...I always remember exactly what I am going to say...and my husband would never find it funny!!!

So what has everyone else been not doing?
