Syd had her first dance show...it was crazy busy that night....I did not expect that many people to be there....but I guess I can considering we had 15 people alone for Syd....but the place was packed....At first I was nervous she wouldnt go up on stage...she was slightly terrified of all the people, but once she saw her teachers and her fellow classmates...she was fine....she did three (yes 3 dances) 1 tap and 2 ballet....she did an amazing job....my favorite part of the night was when I went an got her after her first dance and she asked me if I was happy and I said of course you did a good job Syd....mommy is very proud of you...and she responded with im happy too...that was all she kept saying all night and the next few days afterward was how happy she was....and she is super excited to start dance back up again
On Friday Dec 23rd this was the start of our vacation....holidays can be so crazy with all the running around that we wanted to take some time off to be a family and have some fun....which we surely did....First we had the usual Christmas Eve and Day celebrations with both extended families....the kids had a lot of fun....we also had a very nice Christmas morning at our house as well....and shockingly enough it was not a 5 am morning that day....probably because the kids had a later than normal night the night before....
The rest of our vacation has been spent shopping with Christmas money, going out to eat, we took the kids to pump it up (they had a blast there)....also spent a afternoon/night with close friends....got a few household chores done....and spent new years with great neighbors...and the rest was spent just chilling and watching the kids play with their new toys....its been a great 2.5 weeks...and now its time to go back to reality tomorrow!
