Anniversary Trip in the making

I am getting so excited for next weekend....its our 11 yr anniversary....this will be the first time that we have actually gone somewhere for it....if you want to know the back story we eloped in VAB in 2001 due to his status in the military and the possibility of his not being able to make it to a wedding in MN (which I am glad we did what we did the date we picked for a MN wedding he was out to sea and would not have been there anyway)....and last year we were suppose to do a Duluth trip, but changes in my work situation and the need to pay for bills we could not do it....so it got postponed....we have been talking about doing a big trip, but alas things always seem to come up that needs to be fixed or paid for....so we finally decided just to book something in-state and enjoy our time that we get...instead of just sitting at home....so we are going to Cove Point Lodge in Beaver Bay which is on Lake Superior and it has great reviews....we are currently planning on going to Lutsen to embarrass ourselves with skiing (I may possibility take it up a notch and try snow boarding....) and the other day not sure whats on the agenda....but I am glad that we are getting sometime to chill out and have fun together and just be away!!
