- Today is my first day back into the "normal" life....aka working....I am actually happy in a way to get back into a routine....this house could use that!
- I was reminded the past couple days why I truly dislike the age of three.....defiance and back talking have kicked in full force...and not understanding when we say no we mean it.....
- I was able to take my first real shower since my surgery this morning...it was glorious.....no glad press and seal....
- Prior to going to my post op appt I had made peace with the fact that I was going to have to wear my neck brace for two more weeks....atleast I was half way through it....but when the doctor told me I was done....I could have kissed him!!!
- I look like I got in a knife fight....the wound on my neck is decent!!!....atleast now people are not diverting their eyes from my brace.....just wondering why the hell I have a 3-4 inch incision on my neck!
- We are all done with Christmas shopping for now....we got what we could for our kids.....and its all wrapped and either under the tree or hiding in our closet.....I am just thankful we were able to do something for them this year....and the time spent with Andrew was fun as well!
- This winter is not turning out into the winter I had imagined...my "planned" winter was filed with ski...sledding....tubing.....but that is all out the window now.....and the kids can going sledding when Daddy is home!
- I may have o.d. slightly on puppy chow yesterday and ended up paying for it last night.....lesson learned!
- I am antsy to get back in my workout routine...yes its crazy....but thats my stress reliever!
That's my crazy life in a nutshell....What are you saying SO What! to this week!
