Limited Freedom

Today was my two week post op....and things are going accordingly....which is great...the main reason why we went ahead with the surgery was for the numbess/tingling/weakness in my right arm...which was or seemed to be 100% resolved when I woke up from surgery....which I am thankful for.....this morning prior to my appt I had made peace with having to wear my neck brace for two more weeks....cuz atleast I was half way through it!....but according to my doctor I should not have been fitted with such a restricted version....and that I was done having to wear it....music to my ears!!!....I have no been a fan of the brace at all!!!....I was able to get the stitches out and the steri-strips removed...so I can now take the press and seal and return it to the kitchen....no more waterproofing the bandage....and bonus scored myself two new pieces of medical instruments!!

I am still under restrictions....with my lifting....not able to lift more than 5 lbs and limited on my activities... until I see him next which will be in 10 weeks....so many strides ahead in the healing process....its going to slow going, but atleast its going!.....

Still holding out hope that I may be able to continue with my plans for next spring/summer/fall run activities....but not planning anything until we get a better idea next what I can and can not do!

Last night the tooth fairy paid us another visit!...I wasn't expecting another top front tooth to come out so soon...I was figuring a bottom front would come out first.....but I was proven wrong!!!....Breyden was so excited that it came out and that he is the first kid in his class for the month of December to lose a tooth....his words exactly were I get to be the first person with a star on the calendar at school for this month....super cute....and surprising enough Breyden is a champ at teeth removing.....which if you know our son he can be a huge cry baby when it comes to blood and cuts....it has improved over the years....but still not a tough guy....so I figured when it was time for his teeth to fall out that it was going to be a huge production.....I have been pleasantly surprised with him!!!
