Perfect Timing

In true fashion things around this place have the best timing to break or cost more money because they need some form of attention.....heres the list in the few short weeks that Andrew has been unemployed that has gone array:

• My truck was the first one to go....it decided to give us a warning light about the battery was no longer charging the system.....meaning don't turn the damn thing off for fear of it leaving you stranded where you turned it off....which lead us to the dealership to have it looked it....
• Andrew's car has been in need of an oil change....so why not now....thankfully my dad has all the area and tools he needs to fix it....and rotate the tires....so it cut the cost of that project
• After getting my truck back from the dealership....it now states it would like an oil change....well lady you're just going to have to wait....since Andrew no longer goes to work we are mostly using his vehicle since its cheaper
• Printer decided to run out of black ink the day Andrew's new release from work document came that he needed to sign and send back....so we can get his severance
• Last Monday we learned that COBRA had not kicked in yet like the HR people said it would....and lead us to believe when we signed the paperwork to continue our coverage by paying an outrageous fee for it now....we were shocked when Andrew went to the pharmacy to get my new not as powerful pain meds....that our insurance was over.....so after numerous phone calls and 3 plus hours wasted....we paid full price for those babies....and sent in a check for our COBRA payment for this month....all I know is that day was not a good day this house....and fingers crossed our insurance has kicked back in....so we can reprocess those prescriptions and get a refund....I for one am not holding my breath on this!
• Finally but not least our router has been on the fritz for sometime.....now for most people this wouldn't be an issue....so go buy a reasonably priced new one....well I work from home....so we need to get a premium router....those suckers are not cheap.....nor do they go on sale.....but i will be watching the best buy ads for the next 30 days....if by some chance it does go down in price to get a refund!

The only good thing that has come from Andrew not working is that he has been here with my recovery....which has been extremely helpful....considering my restrictions that my doctor has put on me!

I am hoping that we are given a reprieve here for a while....since our pocket books can not handle any more great expenses! especially with Christmas right around the corner.....cuz you know what a great hit a router is for Christmas!!!
